The city of Krakow is a beautiful place to visit. However after our recent visit I have come home and felt I had to speak out for the horses that pull carriages all day in all weathers. I observed everyday as the same horses where overworked in the intense heat. They looked tired and whilst waiting for the next bundle of tourists to climb aboard they stood in the heat. Laden with heavy costumery, sweat rolling off their bodies and lifting hooves simultaneously off the hot cobbled floor. I saw no evidence of them being watered or for that matter fed. The same horses two at a time worked from early morning until late night. At one point there was 10 people in the carriages. The drivers were constantly touting for business not giving the horses a chance to recuperate from the gruelling journey so tourists could see the city. Please sign this petition if you believe that animals should not be exploited to this extent. I took time to stroke the horses and they looked extremely sad and uncomfortable. Please help by signing and also sharing and spreading the news to anyone who is visiting This beautiful city. There are lots of fun ways to explore and it needn't be at the expensive of an exhausted majestic animal. Thank you
