It is very frightening the amount of dog thefts that are going on around the country and beyond at present. Dogs and pets are part of the family and any theft or cruelty to any animal should be treated as such with those involved facing prison time and much harder punishment than whats is law at present.

The likes of done deal and other social media buy and sell groups are recording large animals sales and outrageous increase in prices for animal sales at present, but do not have sufficient vetting procedures in place  to find out which is fake or genuine. If they introduced photo id( driving licence/ National Identity card/ PRSI Number) attached as prof of seller and maybe same for buyer, this would effect the money flow for purchase and hinder the plans. A lot more must be done with politicians, government and the guards getting involved to bring in new severe sentencing and laws to punish all animal theft and cruelty cases, this needs to happen now.

Below are a list of only a few numbers and emails, we must phone, email and bombard all politicians, government, newspapers and radio stations nationwide to give this the high profile it needs now and to be the voice for all these beloved family members that have no voice. 

Do not sit back and let someone else do this, start emailing and making that call to the powers that be.

Together we can change this very concerning and heartbreaking trend that is happening everywhere.
