For years, the community of Roshnee has been peaceful and united thanks to the efforts and generosity of the selfless community members. The RNW (Roshnee Neughbourhood Watch) initiative was created and ever since its inception, the community was always safe, always united and always at peace.

This initiative is unlike any other and the Roshnee community are blessed to have such an organisation.

Apart from just providing excellent security services as a security company, the organisation takes it upon themselves to see the well-being of the less-fortunate, elderly and the sick members of community, provide service to roads & infrastructure, provide feeding schemes to nearby less-fortunate communities and much, much more.

Unfortunately, After years of this incredible community service, a new group of jealous, power-hungry and attention-seeking people have emerged as CPF members.

This CPF group have caused so much of chaos and disturbance in the community and are completely against the same organisation that has been looking out for the community for years and try to create problems for the RNW at every opportunity. The CPF has beat up innocent people, sparked violent issues & created foul accusations with community members to suit their personal agendas and sadly, it is as if they operate above the law. Unfortunately, the members of this group seem to have influence over local police and seniors in the department which has made them "untouchable".

As a community who has been experiencing such a peaceful period over the few years since RNW has been established, we are desperate to get these gangsters out of our town and prevent them from operating as they have been doing.

This CPF is a cancerous disease that has infected our incredible community and it is time that we get rid of them.

Over the past few weeks, tensions between the RNW and CPF have risen as the CPF want all the authority in the community and do not want the RNW to function as they have been doing for years.

As of today, 6 May 2020, a member of the CPF and a man who is known for causing trouble in the community and who recently gunned down an unarmed man after his phone was stolen, performed a horrible, illegal and despicable act against one of the RNW guards. After an altercation with a group of guards, this man drove down the street, took a u-turn and accelerated back down towards the guard with the intent of running him over and eventually did hit him with his car. This guard, who is a well-respected man in the community and who has been serving the community and the people for years was rushed to hospital and is now recovering from serious injuries.

Unfortunately, this trouble maker has not been accountable for his actions previously and today, he was released from prison shortly after being arrested as the leader of this CPF basically controls all the police authorities in Vereeniging and surrounding areas.

This is completely unacceptable and as a community, we cannot just sit back and watch this go on any longer. We are urging the community and all those who want to see justice to please sign this petition so that this gangsterism can come to an end and all those who are involved needs to be made accountable for their actions. There is no group and no man who is above the law and we hope that this can finally put an end to this power-hungry man and his minions.

Please sign this petition to get rid of this group of CPF and their leader so that our community can finally be rid of this disease that has plagued our people for far too long now.

This needs to be seen by the Police Commissioner, Police Ministry and the necessary government officials so that our community can finally return to peace and tranquillity .
