People are thinking that “Shaktiman” was only a horse. But he was no “ordinary” horse. He was a police personnel ‘on duty’. Some people may have misguided the notion of the cruelty towards Shaktiman by only complaining to the Animal Right societies or NGOs’. But the real Truth is more than what we want to see!!

"Shaktiman" was a Police officer ‘on duty’ (as quoted by Shri Maneka Gandhi). A common man ( be it an MP, MLA or even the PM) cannot show the audacity to charge a police officer on duty. The action, is thus, a Breach towards Indian Penal Code of conduct (IPC). 

Henceforth, the charge is a ‘non-bailable’ Arrest Warrant for the attacker (the MLA “Ganesh Joshi” in this certain case).

Question-1: Then how did the MLA get Bail?

Question 2: How is Indian Police Service (IPS) standing silent, and not fighting against the notion that a fellow police officer had been harmed (tormented beyond measure, stipulating to his death), while performing his duty, after remaining faithful towards the nation for 14 consecutive years? Shaktiman was the horse of Uttarakhand Police, and belonged rightly to the Uttarakhand Police force!
