Under existing law, California Penal. Code § 597(a), any person convicted of maliciously and intentionally maiming or killing an animal can be imprisoned for up to three years in county jail and/or fined $20,000 for felony animal cruelty.

The perpetrator's name is Evian DeGree. This is clearly a sadistic individual. On one of his Instagram accounts, Evian Degree posted videos and pictures of a GORGEOUS sweet cat near his home. The cat had been hanging out his home for days. By his own admission, his three dogs had been eyeballing the cat. The cat was lured in. Then, there is a picture or the kitty dead being chewed on by his three dogo argentinos. He is obviously a sadistic individual and even the way he described the event shows that he maliciously and deliberately set his three dogs on the kitty. He even put hashtags like #sorrycatlovers and #wrongbackyard to make fun of this act of cruelty. A few people expressed concern in their comments and he shows no remorse. Please take actions against this individual.

He and his wife have three dogo argentinos: Khaleesi, Drogo and Kimber. 2 females and 1 male.
