SAY HIS NAME ! This Is Bennie Branch. My family, my friend & now my angel. He was shot in the back, beaten and murdered to DEATH on September 8th 2019 by a Tacoma WA Police Officer in front of his mother. He saw the cops coming towards his direction while he was visiting his mother and ran out of fear and in return his mother was forced to sit back and watch him take his last breaths while being restrained by the cops. Just weeks after his murder the officer was back at work like nothing happened. It took almost 7 months for a police report to be released. We still haven’t gotten word on whether or not action will be taken against the officer but seeing he returned to work so soon and is still working we’re assuming nothing is going to be done. To the many young black men have died at the hands of trigger happy officer, To the many families that have been forced to mourn loved ones who were taken by a bullet, It is time to stand up for all of them and make sure that their names and stories are heard. Not only heard but that there is justice for them as well. Having a badge does not give you the right to take a black mans life. Hold them and tell them they dont have to run, they dont have to hide because you will not hurt them. You will do your job to protect them. The fight doesn’t stop here.
