Police Chief Manuel of Superior, AZ, this petition is calling for you to kindly step down from your position as Chief of Superior Police Department. We the townspeople are consistently unsatisfied with your leadership. We feel ignored and unsafe in the place we call home. Afraid to speak up because of retaliation and lack of police action.

Crimes that are reported to Superior Police Department are often left unresolved and victims are left feeling more vulnerable and at risk than before reporting. A lot of citizens from Superior, AZ do not feel safe interacting with local law enforcement due to so many recent bad experiences.

Complaints are left unheard by Pinal County and the Chief continues to make empty promises. Chief Manuel promises to make Superior, AZ a safer place, and a lot of locals do not believe this to be true. This is causing social unrest and division. Dangerous criminals are allowed to harass innocent people with little to no consequences. When the Chief is confronted, he shifts the blame to the Pinal County Attorney not wanting to take reports from Superior Police Department.

The locals of Superior, AZ are running out of options on making their voices heard. Reporting to the proper channels has not been effective so far. The goal of this petition is to show the Superior Police Department and Town of Superior, AZ government that we are tired of feeling endangered in our beautiful town. Superior, AZ deserves to be a safe community for all.
