STOP taking dogs out in the heat!! I think you should be fined if you take dogs out in the hot weather!! The heat can cause Bradycardia in dogs e.g bulldogs who struggling with their breathing and also poodle types that have a double coat ( German shepherds have 3 coats!! ) to have severe reactions. As well as the risk of dehydration, dogs can suffer severe burns on their paws from the hot tarmac. Not only can this result in needing veterinary care (costing hundreds ), unfortunately and not uncommon, the heat can be fatal.
