Polaris has had ongoing issues with their side by sides starting on fire. This has caused deaths, and also caused many recalls to happen. Currently, Polaris is still sending out letters to owners that there is a fire concern for RZR side by sides, but does not know currently how to resolve the problem. There has also been months of stop-rides for RZR owners while Polaris attempts to resolve the fire danger. It is suggested that Polaris send out roll-bar mounted fire extinguishers to every RZR owner, and two to four seat models. This could not only save thousands in losses for RZR owners, but could also save lives of RZR enthusiasts.
