Tonight, when the clock strikes midnight, women across Calcutta and various districts will occupy the streets to protest against the rape and murder of a junior doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. 

Safety of girls at night specially working women must be assured in a so called Civilised society. 

Is it too much to ask for?
