At ESI Hospital Hoshiarpur , India, a doctor was assaulted by patient relative- Priya Ranjan. The doctor is now in coma and in ICU battling for his life 

When will this trend of violence against doctors stop. Now going to hospital is like going to war, the doctor may or may nit return home. 

Stay safe Doctors. Practice safe. Refer any serious patient. Just like patients family, you too have family who is waiting for your safe return. 

People say even Army personnel and policemen also put their life at risk, I say there is a difference - They are provided with weapons and the right to defend and ,if needed , assault back.
