Ear of a doctor on duty bitten off by a patient's attendant when the doctor asked the attendant not to enter the labour room and maintain social distancing.

Assault on a junior resident doctor (Obs & Gynae) at MKCG Medical College in Behrampur, Odisha. 

The doctor's ear was bitten off by the patient’s attendant when he asked them to refrain from entering the labour room & follow social distancing The offender also assaulted multiple other doctors who tried to stop him from attacking Dr. Shakil & other colleagues.

"The problem is not the assault. But the indifferent attitude of the society for assaults on doctors." 

There are thousands of social organizations in India. But no one speaks against assaults on doctors.
