Dr. Agarwal and the team of health workers on Corona Duty assaulted by a mob of thousand people in Haji Neb Masjid area in Moradabad in Utter Pradesh, India.

The mob pelted stones at the ambulance, doctors. and on the police van which came to rescue the health workers. Several health workers have been reportedly injured in the incident including Dr Agarwal.

Assaults on doctors have become part of being a Doctor in India. As part of the training of Doctor in India, Self Defence training and Providing Licenced Guns to all doctors must be made mandatory along with the MCI Registration. 

If MCI doesn't do that, organizations of doctors like Indian Medical Association, Association of Physicians of India, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, etc should provide licensed guns as part of their membership. Also, these organizations must arrange Self Defence training for their members regularly.
