After a patient death, locals got angry and brutally assaulted the doctor. The doctor died while being taken to the hospital. This happened at Teok Tea Estate in Jorhat, Assam.

The barbarism of the society towards doctor has reached new heights. They can assault and murder without regret.

We, the doctors, will still sit in our chambers and see patients, because we are selfish doctors. "Who cares" if a doctor was thrashed and murdered at someplace in Assam.

We will still run OPDs, "It hasn't happened with me".

We will still run Emergency services "Oh we are Gods"
