Dear Sir,

Through this petition, we wish to draw your urgent attention to the plight of millions of individuals who are aspiring to be “BANKER” and serve the citizens of this great country.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for the creation of an esteemed independent body such as the National Recruitment Agency "NRA " that will bring in a revolutionary change in the way the Tier-1 exams are conducted by SSC, RRB, IBPS, SBI, and others. We especially appreciate the fact that the Common Eligibility Test  ‘CET’  to be conducted by NRA will give instant results and will be conducted twice a year.

     OUR ISSUES:

LESS NUMBER OF VACANCY / NOT REPORTED :

.The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released  IBPS PO 2020 vacancies. the number of vacancies is 1417 . The number of vacancies this year decreased by 67% compared to last year. Last year, a total of 4,336 vacancies were announced.

With the release of 1557 vacancies for IBPS Clerical Cadre, lakhs of candidates are disappointed and stressed. Every year, whether in IBPS or SBI recruitment, the number of vacancies for Clerk post is high giving hopes to thousands of candidates to excel in the exam. However, this year as the vacancies drop down by 87%, the candidates are anxious and described it as a foul play by IBPS. Last year the vacancies released by IBPS for Clerical post were 12075. The last five-year IBPS Clerk vacancies show up the decline in the number of vacancies with the least one in 2020 and the maximum was in 2016. The reason for this huge decreasing vacancy may be the merger of banks or fewer retirements or less need for manual power. The reason could be any but with this minimum number of vacancies, the competition has become toughest so far.  SAME CASE FOR IBPS REGIONAL RURAL BANKS

TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENT AND SAFETY OF ASPIRANTS :

Lack of transport facilities to reach examination centers, fear of contracting COVID-19, and writing exams while wearing masks and hand gloves are our concerns. Private transporters have hiked rates and students will end up spending a heavy amount of money to reach their centers. Many of my friends are stuck in floods. Will they swim to the centers? They won’t be able to take exams amid this pandemic.

HIGH EXAMINATION FEE :

last year the examination fee was 600 rupees, but this year it is 850 rupees( 42%  increase).   So many people are not even applying just because of high fees.

DELAY IN SBI JA PRELIMS RESULT  IS ALSO ONE OF OUR MAJOR CONCERNS

We request the Central Government / Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Office / IBPS/ SBI to consider the above-mentioned points and bring in the much-needed solution so that we can prepare for the exam without any stress and with full concentration.
