THERE is absolutely NO LOGICAL reason why a CANADIAN Senior should be forced to be in a Supermarket or Retail space in the middle of this Pandemic!   Saving Seniors' Health means saving the Health of ALL FAMILY MEMBERS who take care of them!!!

According to the WHO’s Dr. Bruce Aylward - Seniors are at greatest risk of contracting the illness, of being placed on a ventilator, and of dying from the Coronavirus!  Let's change those Stats for the Better!!!

                 SENIORS ARE OUR MOST VULNERABLE POPULATION !!!

Herding Seniors en masse into a one-hour time slot for the first hour of business in Supermarkets and Distancing them at checkouts won’t work to protect the lives of our precious SENIORS!

      Distancing didn’t work in Quebec, and it won’t work anywhere else!

We can NO LONGER ignore the need for Seniors to simply stay inside and PROTECT THEIR OWN HEALTH !!! 

           LET’S DO THAT WITH GROCERY DELIVERY SERVICES NOW!!!

Prime Minister Trudeau, Federal Health Minister Hajdu, and ALL Provincial Health Ministers I urge you to make the intelligent decision.

Supermarkets must be forced via Emergency Law to offer:

• PHONE-IN GROCERY ORDERS for Seniors
• ONLINE GROCERY ORDERING for Seniors
• DELIVERY to Seniors (P.M. Trudeau – please pay for this service)
• PICK-UP SERVICE ON SUPERMARKET PARKING LOTS for Seniors who are still able to drive, (EASIER THAN DISTANCING IN A SUPERMARKET)
  
• GROCERY BOXES DEPOSITED STRAIGHT INTO THE CAR TRUNK by Supermarket staff - no touching – 6 feet easily maintained.

Why should SOME of the largest supermarkets be allowed to get off easy???

When small community Supermarkets in places like Wolfville, Kentville, Berwick, N.S. are already offering these services for free or at a small charge – then clearly, any large Corporation is more than capable!!!

THIS IS NO TIME FOR WAFFLING AND INDECISION!!!
