Solitary Confinement is torture. There is no-one else besides Albert Woodfox held in solitary confinement in Louisiana longer than Kenny Zulu Whitmore. The background for being kept on solitary confinement for so long is due to his political beliefs and his friendship with the “Angola 3,” being a member of the Angola Chapter of the Black Panther Party.
