On Tuesday October 20, 2021, the Plymouth Township Planning Commission will have a PUBLIC MEETING to review and vote to either recommend or not recommend for Board approval to allow a zoning change to PLANNED URBAN DEVELOPMENT (PUD) to permit at least 373 NEW housing units on Ann Arbor Road.  They also have the option to table the proposal.

The proposal is for construction of 373 new apartments/townhomes on 33 acres of land at the Elks Lodge at 41700 Ann Arbor Road, bordering the railroad bridge/line.  This extremely HIGH density of development will negatively impact the quality of life for neighborhoods that border this property, in addition to traffic congestion on Ann Arbor Road to the I-275 intersection (could add 750 vehicles to traffic at just 2 per unit).  The property is currently zoned for Industrial and Commercial use and has over 2500 trees on it.

Please show Township Officials that the design of proposal, in addition to the extreme high unit density development, is detrimental to our resident's quality of life in the Township.
