- Residents were not fully notified of the project plans nor of the cost or means of funding.
- Trustees themselves were not given ample time to review the bond resolution and the vote was rushed through with false promises.
- Residents bordering the park DO NOT WANT an amphitheater.
- Township residents and taxpayers were not appropriately notified nor given an opportunity to indicate their wants through either a survey or a vote.
- Building an amphitheater at this location could easily violate existing Township noise ordinances
- Building in this area would endanger the existing Beech trees and the wildlife in the area.
- Residents do not want the noise, the litter, nor the effort to compete with neighboring community activities.
- Residents do not believe the "no amplification" promise will be kept.
- Funds could be better utilized for public safety.

A year-round pavilion that will cost more than $625,000 is already being constructed in this area.  Signing this petition now will tell the Trustees how you feel about building a $350,000 outdoor amphitheater in our neighbors' backyards.  Let's help our neighbors $top the Amphitheater and sign the petition.
