Officer Keith Larson fatally shot his partner K-9 Nico. He shot Nico after being bit. This is the second time this year Nico bit Keith Larson. K-9s are highly trained dogs that do not bite unless they are hurt or told to by their handlers. This is unacceptable. I do not believe someone with this kind of response should be in the police department or have a weapon.
