Plymouth council leader Tudor Evans has had the name Sir John Hawkins removed from a square in the city without consulting the people of the city.  He gave in to a very small minority of people who protested against the name being named after a slave trader.  Most people do NOT want their city history removed.

Sign the petition to have the square renamed Sir John Hawkins Sq and for the council to ask the people of Plymouth their views.
