The Issue
No one has done more to put Plymouth on the map than Phillip Schofield.
Everyone knows he started his career aged 15 on hospital radio at our very own Derriford Hospital.
Since then he has gone on to host BBC's Going Live, ITV's This Morning, Dancing On Ice and The Cube. He has brought joy to millions for more than three decades.
It is only right that he is recognised permanently with a statue to inspire Plymouth's future talent.
