Iran is is in fire and experiencing one of the most critical moments in its modern history.

War, economic pressure, and deep internal crises have imposed enormous human and financial costs on the Iranian people. Yet within this difficult moment, a rare and historic opportunity for political change also exist, a window for people of Iran to break free.

History shows that such windows do not remain open forever. If the current moment passes without coordinated action from opposition forces, either the existing political system will survive this crisis or reform itself and remain in power for decades to come or Iran will inter to a stateless fase that will turn to a period of chaos that in this case everyone will lose.

One of the greatest obstacles to meaningful change has been the fragmentation of the opposition and the absence of a coordinated political alternative.

This petition is Iranian people's direct demand from the oposition's leaders and a calls for the creation of a Pluralistic Temporary Transitional Coalition Government , which we refer to as #DAMAM — a framework that would allow diverse opposition forces to cooperate during a transitional period and prepare the country for a democratic future.

The purpose of such a coalition is not to decide Iran’s future political system in advance. The final decision about the political structure of Iran must belong to the Iranian people through free and fair elections.

Instead, #DAMAM would serve as a temporary and inclusive coordination structure that can help guide the country through a transition and create the conditions necessary for democratic self-determination.

Regardless of political ideology, ethnicity, religion, or personal beliefs about Iran’s future political system, we share one common reality: Iran is our shared homeland.

At this critical moment, many Iranians believe that the opposition must move beyond division and act with responsibility and unity for the sake of the country.

ایران در آتش جنگ است و یکی از حساس‌ ترین و سرنوشت‌ سازترین لحظات تاریخ معاصر خود را تجربه می‌ کند

 

جنگ، فشارهای اقتصادی و بحران‌های عمیق داخلی هزینه‌های انسانی و مالی سنگینی را بر مردم ایران تحمیل کرده‌اند. با این حال، در دل همین شرایط دشوار، یک فرصت تاریخی کم‌ نظیر برای تغییر سیاسی نیز پدید آمده است؛ پنجره‌ای برای رهایی مردم ایران 

تجربه تاریخی نشان می‌ دهد که چنین پنجره‌هایی همیشگی نیستند. اگر این لحظه تاریخی بدون اقدام هماهنگ تمام نیروهای اپوزسیون سپری شود، یا نظام سیاسی موجود از این بحران عبور خواهد کرد و برای دهه‌های آینده در قدرت باقی خواهد ماند، یا ایران وارد مرحله‌ای از خلاء قدرت خواهد شد که می‌ تواند به دوره‌ای از آشوب و بی‌ ثباتی منجر شود؛ وضعیتی که در آن همه بازنده خواهند بود

 

یکی از بزرگ‌ ترین موانع در مسیر تغییر واقعی، پراکندگی نیروهای مخالف و نبود یک آلترناتیو سیاسی هماهنگ بوده است

این پتیشن، مطالبه مستقیم مردم ایران از رهبران تمام طیف های اپوزسیون است برای تشکیل یک دولت موقت ائتلافی متکثر برای دوران گذارند؛ ساختاری که  می‌ تواند به نیروهای مختلف اپوزسیون امکان دهد در دوره گذار با یکدیگر همکاری کنند و کشور را برای آینده‌ای دموکراتیک آماده سازند

هدف از چنین ائتلافی، تعیین نظام سیاسی آینده ایران نیست. تصمیم نهایی درباره ساختار سیاسی آینده ایران باید از طریق انتخابات آزاد و عادلانه و  توسط مردم ایران گرفته شود
