Pledge to End Dogs Homelessness and Abuse

Pledge to End Dogs Homelessness and Abuse
The Issue
Philippine Animal Sanctuary and Rescue revealed that there are millions of stray pets roaming around the streets in the Philippines, mostly homeless and with irresponsible owners. The vast majority of the said animals are either cats or dogs, which are fast increasing due to accidental breeding on the streets and unwanted births.
The inhumane treatment of stray dogs is a common problem that is often associated with improper feeding, a lack of correct hygiene, and unmerciful killing that brings fear to its subjects. Hunger, in this view, is a pang one feels when one’s stomach is empty. Fear is an uncomfortable twinge that one experiences when one believes that one is in danger. exacerbating the problems while profoundly shredding the rule of law in the Philippines.
Stray animals are mainly a human health hazard because, in some circumstances, they pose a danger to humans. the spread of diseases such as rabies, leptospirosis, and other parasites. Random attacks may also occur on humans and their livestock if stray dogs on the streets are not reduced.
Many dogs here in the Philippines are being killed because they are treated as nuisances in our society. An average of 200 dogs are euthanized every month in each city pound. That is why we want to pursue this petition to stop the inhumane killing of stray dogs. We, the Association, are here in order to keep them in a shelter or in a safe environment. Association is a volunteer-based, non-government organization whose goal is to prevent animal cruelty through education, animal sheltering, and advocacy. Animals also deserve freedoms like us humans. We believe that a peaceful society starts with the widening of mankind’s circle of compassion, which includes animals, thereby envisioning a community that respects animals, practices responsible pet ownership, and protects wildlife.
We, the Association, whose main goals of our petition are:
• Stand against dog abuse and neglect.
• Defend, save, and rescue stray dogs.
• Prevent the spread of diseases from animals to people.
• Render a home for and provide basic needs for the dogs that shall be rescued.
• Avert the increasing number of animals lingering around to ensure a peaceful neighborhood.
There is a growing understanding that animals should be protected from cruelty across the nation, and we need to create powerful efforts to stop mistreatment and punish the outliers. This petition will be helpful to everyone. We ought to put an end to cruel killings. OPEN YOUR EYES, HEAR THEIR CRIES!
