Pledge to Boycott Miami's Art Basel until the City Stops Funding Genocide in Palestine

The Issue

International human rights agencies are unanimous in their conclusion that Israel’s actions in Gaza during the past year—resulting in over 45,000 civilian deaths, including 17,000 children, the withholding of food and essential humanitarian aid, and the destruction of hospitals, schools, and homes—constitute violations of humanitarian law and genocide. These atrocities have displaced more than a million people and devastated countless lives. Despite this, Miami-Dade County and Miami Beach have invested $45MM  in Israel bonds in the past year, directly tying its financial practices to the perpetuation of these inhumane actions.

We call on all Art Basel attendees and supporters to boycott the event until Miami Dade and Miami Beach pledge to stop investing in Israel. This is a stand for humanity and a demand for the city and county to align their financial practices with the principles of justice and human dignity. Please sign the petition and join us in this urgent cause.
