Governor Cuomo needs to hear from us to ensure that he signs it!
The Governor has 5 days (not including Sundays) to approve (“sign”) or reject (“veto”) bills passed by both houses. Signed bills become law; vetoed bills do not. However, if the governor failure to sign or veto a bill within the 10-day period, the bill automatically becomes law.
It is now in the hands of Governor Cuomo to sign the bill into law.
