Boca Raton Parents and Residents , please take two minutes to  sign this petition if you'd like to see....

A food truck parking lot/park, a family/youth friendly hybrid golf course and practice range/area, pickle ball/tennis courts, walking trails/paths, and space for "movies in the park".

Hundreds of City and District residents are already asking for these at the Ocean Breeze Property. There has been much conflict of what "single use" facility to do on the property. But this is a massive 212 acre property broken up into four different pieces, so why not designate each piece to a different activity/leisure? With the tremendous growth that Boca Raton has seen over the last 10 years, a park like this is much needed for the residents and the city.
A few things that hundreds of residents have gotten behind and are currently supporting:
1) A hybrid golf course (that could also be used for frisbee and fling golf), range, and practice area for kids and families. This would be a shorter hybrid par 4 type course (10-12 holes), with the intentions of introducing youth to the game, and have a place for youth leagues, lessons, and camps. A course like this would also be able to be played in about 2 hours versus the 4+ hours you see on most traditional course.
2) Pickle Ball and Tennis Courts that could be partnered with pickle ball leagues and national tournaments, for all ages.
3) Walking Trails/Paths/Open fields, that could basically serve as a miniature version of Central Park, for yoga classes, picnics, frisbee, a dog park area, etc.
4) A food truck park/lot and open field for movies in the park, or small concerts in the park.
Boca Raton has some of the best sports fields and parks in the state for our families and kids. So why not take this opportunity to replace the the executive course (that had 24,000-30,000 rounds played a year) that is part of the Boca Municipal Course sale to GL Homes, with a Hybrid Golf Course that will be fun for kids and parents to play together. A place where our kids can receive lessons, attend camps, and learn through a youth golf league. A pickle ball facility is also an opportunity, and the other multi use spaces for family friendly entertainment and activities.
