The Issue

My daughter, a resident of Ystalyfera, Swansea, is currently battling breast cancer, enduring mental health issues, and facing several other health challenges. Despite all these hurdles, she has always found solace and companionship in her beloved dog, Rudi Sadly, she's being forced to fight yet another battle — this time for Rudis life and companionship.

Despite her unwavering love and care for Rudi, my daughter experienced intense pressure from the RSPCA to sign over her cherished pet. Her daily life has already been marred by continuous harassment from her neighbors, which only adds to her distress and makes her an unjust target for scrutiny.

Rudi has always been a well-cared-for dog, bringing joy and emotional support to my daughter especially during her bouts of illness. There is no evidence that she was ever neglected or mistreated. The sudden insistence from the RSPCA to remove her from my daughter's care is neither fair nor justified. It adds unnecessary strain on someone who is already vulnerable.

We are calling on the RSPCA to reconsider their actions and to allow Rudi to remain in the loving home she has known. My daughter needs Rudis companionship now more than ever while she fights against breast cancer and defends her mental well-being. Rudis presence provides her with the emotional support that is crucial for her health and happiness.

This petition seeks to compel the RSPCA to acknowledge and respect my daughter's unique circumstances and to prioritize the well-being that Rudi brings into her life. Let's ensure that Rudi stays where she truly belongs — with my daughter, her rightful carer and loving friend.

Please sign this petition to urge the RSPCA to return Rudi to my daughter and allow them both to live peacefully without further distress.
