CVSR has put some locomotives on their deadline, one of them being 4241 an Alco C-424 diesel locomotive. 4241, is possibly gonna be scrapped.

CVSR 4241 is a very unique locomotive as it was the only ex Canadian Pacific Alco C-424 diesel locomotive to have it's headlight moved to the cab 

History of CVSR 4241: 4241 was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1966 as Canadian Pacific 4241, it was rebuilt in 1976. In 1997, the locomotive was retired & sold to the Quebec-Gatineau Railway, 2 years later in 1999, the locomotive was sold to the Buffalo Southern Railroad, however, the locomotive was never used. In 2004, CVSR purchased 4241 & it was placed in service in September 2005.
