As of the time of making this post, the roblox game "late july, midsummer" was permanently closed. The developers stated how keeping up with the game and its community was too much to balance amongst their own personal lives. I completely understand why the developers made this decision, and after everything they put into the game over the past years, we only owe love and appreciation towards the developers for gifting us with the memories that we made in this game. Thank you so much Alph, Cheese, and everybody else who put time and love into making this game.

With that being said, this petition is not about asking them to further update the game or develop it.

This is not about asking for updates, new content, bug fixes, regular maintenance, or anything of the sort. I'm simply asking if they would consider reopening the game in the state it was already in, so that we can continue having fun on this game.

late july, midsummer means something different to all of us. Some of us played it for only a few days, and some of us for years; we made friends, memories, and it became a comfort place for so many of us. There truly was nothing like it. And it was, without much of a warning at all, gone overnight.

I want to be clear that the developers have every right to say no, and their choices are already respected. This petition isn't about guilt-tripping or building pressure; it's just a way to reflect the communities' ask for being able to play the game again.

In the end, if it is not possible, I understand. Thank you so much to the developers, the contributors, the artists, and everybody else for giving us what late july, midsummer was. Thank you for all the memories.
