As most of you will know, TokyoPop was the publishing house that translated the first nine volumes of Saiyuki and the first nine volumes of Saiyuki Reload. However, before the final volume of Saiyuki Reload could be released in America, all production was ceased. However, now it seems that TokyoPop has returned and, with it, the hope for a return of some of its most beloved titles. I would like to encourage all fans of Saiyuki to reach out to the publishing house on any and all social media. Let them know that our love of Saiyuki, and of Tokyopop’s official release of it, never died down. We would happily purchase and support any releases of the Saiyuki brand with Tokyopop. It would be truly amazing if that could be by owning actual translated copies of Saiyuki Gaiden, Saiyuki Ibun, Saiyuki: The Anthology, and Saiyuki Reload Blast. With Funimation’s recent dub of the Saiyuki Reload Blast anime, there could be no better time for a renaissance for the manga!
