- A family member without my consent or knowledge got guardianship of my son. She has had him for 2 years now because i cant get anyone to help me with the filing process. I've paid a lawyer $1,500 and he isn't doing anything. He is now turning 11, so he is old enough to know what he wants. He wants to come home and this woman/family member wont let him. I have a great job as dispatch for a security company, and a beautiful stable home. I've had problems with drugs in the past, but have since bettered my life. I found out this is what she does for a living is steals peoples kids for an income. She has had kid napping charges and false imprisonment charges filed against her for not giving people their kids back. She is getting foster money and child support which is why she wont let him come home.Please sign this petition and help Brayden come home to his mother, dad and little brother. That's the part that hurts most is how close my 2 boys were to just be sperated like this. She isn't even considering what this is doing to my son's mental well being. Help my son come home, and hopefully make it to where this lady can't do this to anyone else's kids. She has done the same thing to strangers she had just met, myself and her own daughter. All so she could collect the money. How was someone that has had kid napping charges filed against her able to obtain guardianship of any child?
