Nov 22, 2020 —
On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, and again on December 17, 2020, Lithuania's parliament (Seimas) is set to approve 27 million euros of funding for the appalling convention center project right in the middle of the Old Vilna Jewish Cemetery.
Please email the Chancellery (priim@lrs.lt) with a brief
message. For example: Please do not fund the Vilnius Convention Center on the old Jewish cemetery, the project needs to be moved!
For those of you who have ancestors in Lithuania, thanks to the work of our colleague Dr. Andrius Kulikauskas, you can now easily write to the actual member of parliament for your own ancestral town or city. See: https://defendinghistory.com/who-in-lithuanias-seimas-parliament-represents-your-shtetl/104360
Here are more ways to help. You can email the leadership of Seimas as explained here:

Whenever possible, please send a copy of your communication to us at: ruta@kapines.com.
Finally, if you can, please contribute to DefendingHistory.com (all US contributions are now tax-deductible). It’s easy via paypal with any credit card: https://defendinghistory.com/donors-page
Thank you from Vilna, and a good, safe week ahead!
