Petition update
Today is Last Day for Comments to 2021 State Budget. PLEASE SEND A BRIEF EMAIL!
Nov 10, 2020 —
Dear Friends,
Re: a few words to: priim@lrs.lt
Apologies for this late notice. Today (Tuesday 10 Nov.) is the last day for comment on the Lithuanian parliament's state budget for 2021 which includes MANY MILLIONS of euros for the national convention center project right in the middle of the Old Vilna Jewish Cemetery! Perhaps parliamentarians finalizing the budget are not aware of the massive international opposition to what would be a shameful desecration of the old Jewish cemetery. For much less money, a beautiful new convention center can be built ELSEWHERE. Please write them a few words today asking for funding NOT to be allocated to a project that would cause so much harm. The email is: priim@lrs.lt
THANK YOU!
