Fate of Old Vilna Jewish Cemetery in Hands of Lithuania's Gov. & Parliament...

Ruta Bloshtein
Vilnius, Lithuania

Dec 13, 2020 —

Lithuania's Government is considering whether or not to spend 27 million euros on an abominable convention center project right in the middle of the Old Vilna Jewish Cemetery.

If you can, please email Lithuania's government  (at: LRVkanceliarija@lrv.lt) to tell them politely what you think.

More information including more detailed letters that would help the cause: https://defendinghistory.com/please-email-by-december-17-to-urge-lithuanias-finance-ministry-to-respect-tthe-old-jewish-cemetery-in-vilnius/104476

For those of you who have ancestors in Lithuania, thanks to the work of
our colleague Dr. Andrius Kulikauskas, you can now easily write to the
actual member of Parliament for your own ancestral town. See:

Whenever possible, please send a copy of your communication to us at:
ruta@kapines.com.

Finally, if you can, please contribute to www.DefendingHistory.com (all US contributions are now tax-deductible). It’s easy via paypal with any
credit card: https://defendinghistory.com/donors-page Despite these difficult times, we continue to monitor, document and stand up. Your continued support is vital!

Thank you from Vilna, Happy Chanukah, and a good, safe week ahead!
