In February 2024, the first issue of "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return", written by Amy Jo Johnson and Matt Hotson and art by Nico Leon, was released.  The comic is a limited four-part series that shows Amy Jo Johnson's version of what she would have done with a M.M.P.R. reunion and follows an alternate reality of the main characters where the Rangers never left the team and Olivia Hart, the daughter of Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart, becomes the new Green Ranger.

We, the fans, would like to see Hasbro make a four-part animated series or movie that adapts "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return" and brings back the original cast (Amy Jo Johnson, David Yost, Walter Emanuel Jones and Austin St. John, respectively) to reprise their roles.
