Over the years, Hasbro has made six-inch action figures based on the characters from Marvel Comics, including The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, The X-Men and The Avengers, for their "Marvel Legends" toyline for fans to add to their collection.  One toyline under the "Marvel Legends" series has been based on Marvel Comics' first superhero team, The Fantastic Four.  Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby in 1961, The Fantastic Four are Marvel's First Family of superheroes, consisting of the team's leader Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Susan Storm/The Invisible Girl, Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Benjamin "Ben" Grimm/The Thing.  In the years since, Reed Richards and Susan Storm were married, the Invisible Girl was renamed the Invisible Woman, and the team's uniforms have changed to different styles and colors.

However, one set of Fantastic Four figures that Hasbro has not made new figures of yet are making updated new figures based on the Fantastic Four's original costumes designed by co-creator Jack Kirby.  Hasbro previously made figures of The Fantastic Four in their classic costumes as Walgreens exclusives and they have made figures of The Fantastic Four in other costumes they wore through the years, but Hasbro has yet to remake figures of the Fantastic Four's classic uniforms as sold-separately, non-exclusive figures.

We, the fans, would like to see new "Marvel Legends: The Fantastic Four" action figures made of Mister Fantastic with alternate bendable wire stretched arms, the Invisible Woman (as two figures, one completely visible and one invisible), Johnny Storm (completely normal with alternate "flame on" fiery hands), Johnny as the Human Torch (without the fiery "4" logo on his chest and with the classic "grill lines" on the character's body), and the Thing (with a Yancy Street street sign included as an accessory, like Toy Biz did for their "Marvel Super Heroes" toyline in the early 1990s).  Fans also hope each figure gets new alternate heads (such as a calm or smiling head sculpt with an alternate angry head sculpt), alternate hands for both hands of each character (such as open hands for holding an accessory and alternate fist hands), accessories of the character's powers (such as force field shields for the Invisible Woman and fireballs for the Human Torch), and new body molds, such as pinless body molds.
