Since 2020, Hasbro has released a popular ongoing "Marvel Legends: Retro Spider-Man" toyline that includes the old retro Toy Biz packaging based on the 1990s "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" toyline and has included action figures of Spider-Man, his allies, his enemies, and even some of his supporting cast. However, a new figure for one of Spider-Man's most popular and iconic supporting characters, Mary Jane Watson(-Parker), has not had a new figure made for the "Spider-Man" toyline in several years.  While the "Retro Spider-Man" toyline did include an alternate civilian head of Mary Jane for their Gwen Stacy action figure, we, the fans, would like to see a new Mary Jane Watson figure in her first appearance clothes on a new pinless body, with a new head sculpt based on her first appearance panel based on the art of the late, legendary artist John Romita Sr., and to include accessories of her purse, a removable jacket and alternate jacket sleeve arms.
