In 1995, Marvel Comics briefly killed off one of Spider-Man's classic and most persistent super-villains, Doctor Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus, and introduced Carolyn Trainer as Octavius's protege.  Following Octavius's death, Carolyn donned her own outfit and her own set of tentacles that responded to her thoughts as the second Doctor Octopus.  When Trainer helped resurrect the original Doctor Octopus in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #427 in the summer of 1997, Carolyn relinquished the title of Doc Ock back to Octavius and took the name of Lady Octopus instead.

Since the character's debut, however, the character has yet to be made into an action figure, including Hasbro, the current company that makes action figures based on Marvel Comics's heroes, villains and civilian characters in their ongoing "Marvel Legends" toylines.

We, the fans, would like to see Hasbro finally make an action figure of Lady Octopus in her original costume, with four bendable wire tentacles accessories included, at least two head sculpts included (one calm and one angry), and alternate hands for fans to add to their collections.
