Hasbro released a series of two-packs based on "Spider-Man: The Animated Series", which ran for five seasons from 1994 to 1998 on The Fox Kids Network, for fans to buy.  Among the two-packs made by Hasbro were Spider-Man in his black costume with Carnage, Doctor Octopus with Aunt May Parker, the Green Goblin with Mary Jane Watson, Doctor Strange with Morbius, Peter Parker with Alistair Smythe as the Ultimate Spider-Slayer, Daredevil with Hydro-Man, and Spider-Man with the Vulture.  Some characters from the animated series, such as Venom, the Scorpion, the Chameleon and Mysterio, were also made and released as sold-separately figures.

One villain that has yet to be made based on "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" is Herman Schultz/the Shocker.  On the 1994 "Spider-Man" animated series, the Shocker got his weaponry from the Kingpin's lieutenant, Alistair Smythe, and was one of the Kingpin's regular henchmen throughout the series.  The Shocker was also one of the team members of the Kingpin's team, The Insidious Six, with Doctor Octopus serving as the team's field leader and the Shocker was usually paired with Doctor Octopus during the Six's return in the five-part "Six Forgotten Warriors" storyline in season five.

We, the fans, would like to see Hasbro make a new action figure of the Shocker based on the 1990s animated series on a new body mold, to include a new head sculpt with eye holes in his mask to shock his eyes, for the figure to be painted to look like his animated series counterpart, to include new "vibro-shock" blast accessories for his wrist gauntlets, and to be sold separately in all stores and on all websites.
