After losing our beloved Winnie girl earlier this year we trusted Animal Friends to find us a new member of the family. They recommended Koda. They said Koda was fantastic with people and loved meeting new friends (one of our requests when filling out the application.) He is absolutely wonderful with my wife and I but wasn't thrilled with new people coming over to the house. However we were willing to work on his behavior and trusted the trainers at Animal Friends to help us. Last Sunday he unfortunately bit one of the trainers due to complete negligence by her partner. They now want to euthanize him. He has spent two months in our possession and under our care. Since he was a "foster to adopt" we have no opinion in any of this. The only reason we didn't finalize his adoption sooner was because we followed the advice of the team at Animal Friends due to him having an ear infection (they should have treated when he was there) and also because the trainer said we wouldn't have to pay for her services if we did it that way. We love this dog from the bottom of our hearts. He is a wonderful boy that was set up for failure by this place.
