People around the world are buying items from Amazon.com to be donated to Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invasion. Unfortunately, shipping those items to volunteers in Ukraine is extremely inefficient, slow, and uncertain.

We would like to ask Amazon, Andy Jassy, Jeff Bezos, and everyone else within the company to open a unified Disaster Relief and Response center near the Ukrainian border so that people from around the world can buy and ship donated items with Prime Air there directly and at a scale available only to Amazon. The world will make it a worthwhile undertaking for Amazon, while the volunteers on the ground will deliver to & distribute donated items in Ukraine. This will also allow Amazon to streamline the creation of such hubs in the areas requiring humanitarian relief in the future.

While working with volunteers in the USA collecting donations from people to be sent to Ukraine, we have noticed that a disproportionately large number of the items were purchased from Amazon, while many collection centers even had their priority lists set up on Amazon. Delivering those items locally to then be shipped to Ukraine often incurred logistical hurdles, delays, abuse & uncertainty. Your signing of this petition will help solve this problem once and for all in a unified way at a scale of the most successful logistical operation in the World.
