My children, Isaiah and Sabri Brown were kidnapped by Richland County Department of Social Services (DSS) in Columbia, SC. I was falsely accused by a previous DSS worker and her son,her son was my children's Godfather who have friends and family all through Richland County assist them in doing so. It was illegal and they violated our civil rights in the worst of ways, threatened me and my childrens lives and have caused trauma to us and my immediate family(my parents and my other children ) due to me finding out that the younger brother of the false accuser,had touched my son and when i told them i was going to report him is when the trouble started for us. The first time he made a fake report was shortly after my late husband,their father,was murdered on Christmas Eve 2021,I started to document everything and take pictures and videos. They were unaware that I had all this proof that they had set me up and when I reached out to Mr. Leach who is over ALL of South Carolina DSS,and presented the proof that no investigation was actually done,they showed up asking what our names were didn't even have me and my childrens names. The descriptions of the physical being in their paperwork didn't match me and my children AT ALL! I was selling my house they came to THAT house where no children were present nor any sign of children residing and after hours came to remove children that didn't live in this house. They were given all supporting paperwork and didn't even submit it because they were working illegally! Almost every person who worked at RICHLAND COUNTY DSS ON TWO NOTCH ROAD that took part in it has either resigned or no longer works for the department and i have their names and SOLID proof on them and their part in it. My babies have now been both physically and mentally abused at both foster homes they have been in. They are afraid and don't understand why they arent home yet. I have been fighting since April to get them back home. I was innocent and they KNOW this now and still have yet to release my children and they have now taken. then TWO hours away and won't disclose their location. There is even a judge and two attorneys  also involved and I have the proof of that also. I have made a complaint via email to the department of defense here in Columbia SC in regards to the latter. But despite being found innocent, my children are still held captive.  Their return should have been before Christmas but they keep telling me they are waiting on a court date and that expedited it. While the dirty workers are still yet in the background messing with paperwork because I found out they were trying to to TPR me with no grounds not knowing that I've gone higher and now really PUBLIC!

The situation has escalated to a point where my children are suffering both mentally and physically under the care they were placed in. This is not an isolated incident; it's a part of a larger problem. Reports indicate that child welfare agencies across the country have been scrutinized for failing to reunite families even after parents have been cleared of accusations (source: National Coalition for Child Protection Reform).

This petition seeks justice not only for me but also for other parents who might be facing similar situations. The system needs reforming so that no parent has to endure what I am going through right now.

My plea is simple - Bring my children home! They need their parent and I need them back in my life. It's time Richland County DSS rectifies its mistake and returns wrongfully retained children back to their rightful homes.
