Many thanks to the 80 or so brave but determined souls who made it to the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council /@connectthedotsdublin information session last night - not the engagement format many expected, not the Council responses many needed.
The second and final session will be this Saturday 21 Jan from 2pm-5.30pm in Woodbrook College, and we need as many of you as possible to show up, whether you’re in favour of the current plans or the alternatives put forward by the #SaveShanganaghPark campaign and others.
Many have also demanded this session include a town hall format to allow questions from an audience to a panel of DLR planners, decision makers and Councillors as it was clear again that there are inconsistencies in information being shared - will Councillors Carrie Smyth, Una Power, Frank McNamara, Denis O'Callaghan, Jim Gildea, Hugh Lewis and Michael Clark support this reasonable request so an optimal, blended format can be achieved that will encourage debate and look for solutions?
Save the parking hassles and join the community walk to Woodbrook, departing 1.15pm from the park entrance at St Anne’s Park, and 1.30pm from the main road entrance beside the playground (opposite the Shanganagh Marble and Stone Centre).
And will you be signatory number 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣?!?
