My eleven year old son (J.B.) has been a victim of abuse for 7 years and we have been refused support from the court, government officials, Child Protective Services, school counselors and teachers, the court appointed Best Interest Attorney, the local police department, therapists, medical doctors, and supposed "child experts".

     My son was deliberately placed in an abusive home to a father who claims to "own Howard County" and will "not stop" until he "destroys" the mother.  The mother was the son's ONLY caregiver during his first eight years of life, of which the child thrived.

     The self-admitted alcoholic father (Jason Bouma) continues to abuse the child, and the State Police, as well as Howard County Police Department, told the child that his "bruises are not big enough" and that his father is "allowed to strike him".  Protective Orders have been granted by the District Court, only to be ignored by the Circuit Court, thus keeping the child in the abusive home.

     The child became suicidal and was hospitalized and yet Child Protective Services and the hospital released him back to the father, who was the reason for the suicidal ideation. I was never contacted by the father, or anyone else who is supposed to protect my son.

     This brave and innocent child has been pleading with everyone to allow him to return "home" to his mother, his dog, his friends, his toys, his home, his "real family"......all he had ever known and loved.

     The court, Best Interest Attorney (Alisa Cummins), father's attorney (Christopher Rand), child protective services (Bobbi Feher), certain child experts( who were ordered by the court) Paul Berman, therapists(ordered by the court) Sheela Reddy, all chose to ignore the evidence and the child's pleas. There are disturbing letters, written by the child, pictures of bruises, and disturbing pictures drawn by the child, along with reports that an emergency hearing needed to be scheduled because the child has been deteriorating.  The father tells false stories about the mother, which people choose to believe because they do not want to look at the evidence.  I no longer care about their opinions.  I just want want son to be safe.

     The Howard County Circuit Court, certain judges (which will soon be named after the investigation) and predators (Alisa Cummins, Christopher Rand, Dr. Paul Berman, Dr. Richard Greenbaum, Dr. Sheela Reddy, Susan Krohn), have been abusing their power and detroying these "voiceless children". I am only one of the many victims of the predators listed above and they need to be stopped. My son needs a voice before his father "kills" him.....which he has feared for years. He has disclosed that "no one knows what really happens behind closed doors".  He asked CPS, "Do I need to die before anyone believes me?"  Instead of helping him, the court seals the reports that show evience of the abuse and neglect.

     I have NEVER had a report written about me that states I am abusive or neglectful, and the father has several.  The court gave the father sole custody, when he never even asked for it until he realized what he would have to pay in alimony and child support.

This must be made public so people can finally hear and see the truth.  Since my son has continued to reside in the paternal granparents' house, with the father, my son has had a fractured wrist, needed 13 staples for a severe cut, has had an infection, has needed care for physical illnesses, has been refused his needed medication and surgery, and has gained an extreme amount of weight, which now places him in the "obese" category and NO ONE wants to help.   My son needs to get away from that home before he becomes a statistic....he will either hurt himself or others because his anger, resentment, helplessness, and depression will continue to increase with each passing day.

     I continue to receive threatening phone calls, there are strangers constantly around the house and attempted break-ins.  I am sure I these are attempts to stop fighting for my child, but I never will.

     PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO STOP THE HOWARD COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT FROM CONTINUING TO COVER UP THE ABUSE THAT THEY KNOW IS OCCURRING IN THAT HOME.  MY SON DESERVES A CHANCE AT A HAPPY LIFE.
