Please help Dan fix our FAA problem. Dan Gryder for Administrator of FAA

Please help Dan fix our FAA problem. Dan Gryder for Administrator of FAA
The Issue
1/25/2025
CHANGE! Our past FAA Administration's lack of qualification has damaged the safety and security of the national transportation system. Never in history has there been more passenger airline close calls, near misses, more manufacturing error, or more government inefficiency in the aviation sector. An immediate course correction by one individual that is extremely qualified, and is not afraid to speak out in order to fix glaring safety issues is now absolutely critical. Tenerife in America is looming.
My name is Dan Gryder, I am asking for your support by simply signing this petition. It is FREE to sign, there is no donation requested or desired. I have officially requested to be considered for the currently vacant position of ADMINISTRATOR of the FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION.
This position will be filled by an appointment from President Donald J. Trump, and our president may become aware of my solicitation for this position through this petition, friends, and politicians who currently hold positions that could cause this to happen.
If appointed, I would make numerous immediate changes to our Air Traffic Control policies: No more personal electronic devices allowed on Federal ATC properties. (control towers and radar rooms) No more mandatory retirement age, Hiring based purely on merit, No more DEI hiring, No more disruptive ATC facility tours. I would implement a reverse Brasher system for ATC error, where controllers can be found at fault and penalized for errors, accidents, and violations of policy. Just like pilots. DISTRACTION IS AT THE VERY ROOT OF ALL CLOSE CALLS. I would also move to install tower cab area audio and video recording devices so that after an incident, a review can be made to see what was going on in the tower that caused a controller to "not" see the impending disaster that had been clearly visible out the window. Disaster and collision on US soil is now imminent.
I would also require immediate relief to the FAA medical back log where thousands of qualified airman certifications are currently being withheld with their medical certification pending FAA review.
I would immediately install a system to identify and eliminate Federal employees who have used their FAA position as a means of personal retaliation against citizens.
I would immediately seek to produce free continuing education AQP materials for general aviation pilots, and encourage semi annual participation as part of the GA flight review process. I would advocate for the immediate incorporation of DMMS into all flight training media.
I would work to quickly review and approve the MOSAIC effort that is currently on hold. This pending legislation is mostly centered around immediate relief for private flyers of light aircraft.
I would immediately cease the prosecution of citizens who fly remote control model aircraft for recreational purposes.
I would be be actively working on this project 7 days a week, and I would invite open comment from both citizens and businesses in the aviation sector. I would be on board and in the cockpit of every new Boeing first flight. I would rename the FAA NOTAM back to it's original: Notice to Airman.
The FAA has been like a jet in flight without a seasoned captain in charge. As of today, there is not actually "anyone" at all up front in a control seat in this critical organization. The position remains VACANT.
As a retired major airline captain, I hold an ATP certification for both single and multi engine aircraft. I am type rated in the Douglas DC-3, Turbine DC-3, Douglas DC-9, MD-88, MD-90, Cessna Citation 500 series, Boeing 757, Boeing 767, Boeing 777, BE-400, and MU-300 aircraft. I am a seasoned FAA Gold Seal Instructor, Instrument Instructor, Advanced Ground Instructor, and former airline instructor, I hold an FAA First Class medical certificate and I fly, instruct, and deliver almost almost every day in tailwheel, warbird, turboprops, business jet, and private aircraft. My flight time totals are more than 16,500 hours.
I am 63 years old. I have spent a lifetime in all facets of aviation. You may think that it is impossible for me to ever receive a presidential appointment to this FAA Administrator position, since my entire career has been in aviation, and non political in nature. Under normal circumstances, I would have agreed. However, we are currently witnessing the most incredible forces of change that the country has ever seen. If there was ever a president that would consider letting Dan fix this FAA mess, Trump is probably the guy. I only ask for your help. Please sign this petition and forward to any person or group that could help.
