From 2020 to 2022, the GatewayJFK Shuttle provided safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for workers and residents within Downtown Jamaica and the GatewayJFK BID. 

The GatewayJFK Shuttle operated every weekday from 5AM - 9AM to 3PM - 7PM with two vans, drivers, and field ambassadors. On average, hundreds of people commuted on the GatewayJFK Shuttle every weekday.      

On December 30th, 2022, the GatewayJFK Shuttle suspended its operation until further notice due to the expiration of a sponsorship, privately funded by the GatewayJFK Business Improvement District (BID). Subsequently, this suspension threw a wrench in hundreds of workers and residents, like ourselves, who developed a true love for this service.

It was always welcoming to be greeted by the drivers and field ambassadors. The GatewayJFK Shuttle ambience truly cultivated a family environment on wheels!

Now, GatewayJFK BID workers and residents all have to commute on transportation options with unreliable schedules, lengthy wait times, crowded standing areas, and unsafe conditions. 

The GatewayJFK Shuttle on the Q6 route was powered by local businesses: Dollaride for its mobile app, and City Link for its van services. It was an essential part of our commutes and we hope the service will be relaunched as soon as possible.

Por favor, Gateway JFK BID: Traiga de vuelta el Gateway JFK Shuttle

De 2020 a 2022, el GatewayJFK Shuttle brindó un transporte seguro, confiable y cómodo para los trabajadores y residentes dentro del centro de Jamaica y el GatewayJFK BID.

El GatewavJFK Shuttle operaba todos los días de la semana de 5 a.m. a 9 a.m. y de 3 p.m. a 7 p.m. con dos camionetas, conductores y embajadores de campo. En promedio, cientos de personas viajaban en el GatewayJFK Shuttle todos los días de la semana.

El 30 de diciembre de 2022, GatewayJFK Shuttle suspendió su operación hasta nuevo aviso debido a la expiración de un patrocinio, financiado de forma privada por GatewayJFK Business Improvement District (BID). Como consecuencia, esta suspensión representó un duro golpe para cientos de trabajadores y residentes, como nosotros, que desarrollamos un verdadero amor por este servicio.

Siempre fue agradable ser recibido por los conductores y embajadores de campo. ¡El ambiente del GatewayJFK Shuttle realmente cultivó un ambiente familiar sobre ruedas!

Ahora, los trabajadores y residentes del BID de GatewayJFK tienen que viajar en opciones de transporte con horarios poco confiables, tiempos de espera prolongados, áreas de espera llenas de gente y condiciones inseguras.

El GatewayJFK Shuttle en la ruta Q6 fue impulsado por negocios locales: Dollaride para su aplicación móvil y City Link para sus servicios de camionetas. Era una parte esencial de nuestros viajes y esperamos que el servicio se reanude lo antes posible.
