Where to start...

As a staunch DC fan for more than 25 years, the news coming out these days has been nothing but heartache after heartache concerning its beloved characters.

The DCEU is almost 10 years old - it is a well-established franchise.

The DCEU has to stop thinking like the MCU - it isn't the MCU.
It's so much more.

Going on several decades past, the chief chars of the franchise (Batman, Superman etc.) have received numerous live-action iterations, from TV series to movies, already establishing them as household names, which makes Zack Snyder's original vision (bringing in an already seasoned Bruce/Batman or WW) the perfect plan to kick off the franchise.

This is the WRONGEST time in the franchise's history to do a complete reboot, especially so because the previous story arc started by Zack Snyder hasn't been concluded. He brought these characters to live in a way that had never been experienced in past live-action iterations, which was turning out to be a spectacular epic tale.

The current trajectory the DCU is taking with James Gunn and Peter Safran at the helm will only spell more disaster. Already, the DC fandom is unitedly heartbroken. Redoing a younger Superman without Henry Cavill will essentially create another universe, much like Matt Reeves' Battison did.

The DCU is a mess right now mostly due to studio interference by the previous managing company, DC Films and its execs, as evidenced by the critically panned Batman V Superman; Dawn of Justice & Justice League they released contrasted against the massive critical reception of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition & Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Since it seems that no other leader or director is good enough to complete the story arcs established by Zack Snyder's films, mostly owing to the fact that every other director seems to have a selfish tac for "MAKING THEIR OWN FILM", the only solution viable solution at this point is to bring back Zack Snyder.

Once his beloved story arc is completed, a reboot can then be initiated by a Flashpoint story as has been done a few times in the animated series and comics.

To the powers that be, Mr Samuel DiPiazza (chairman) and Mr David Zaslav (president and CEO) of Warner Bros. Discovery, please recognize that the removal of DC Films (and its Hamada-led regime) was met with worldwide approval. Both from a business and personal perspective, we, the DC fans, believe that you have auspicious plans and goals for our beloved franchise. Unfortunately, James Gunn's current trajectory has finally been exposed to be another Hamadaesque movement that is hell-bent on causing more disunity, incoherence and instability to the franchise. This is all evidenced by news of him potentially recasting already established actors/characters in different roles, as well as cancelling several other world-building projects of the current iteration of the DCEU universe. It is well-proven that doing anything outside Zack Snyder's original vision won't be profitable, as can be seen by the underwhelming numbers pulled in by such out-of-sync DC Films like Birds of Prey, Shazam!, Wonder Woman 1984, The Suicide Squad to name a few.

Please, fire James Gunn and bring back Zack Snyder, as this is the only sure way to reinstate the franchise as the behemoth that IT SHOULD BE today.
