Dav Pilkey’s works had not gone until animation until about 2017, where we had a DreamWorks Animation film based off the Captain Underpants books with the name Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, which seems misleading since the film had not been given a sequel. Now coming early next year is a film based off another book series by Dav Pilkey, being Dog Man, which too is from DreamWorks Animation. Since the Captain Underpants film had not been given a sequel, the Dog Man film should not be given a sequel either, unless of course there can still be a Second Epic Movie more then a decade more then a decade later, the same I say about adaptions of Dav Pilkey’s works that there may end up being in the future both from and not from DreamWorks Animation.
