A new animated Smurfs film is on it's way, this time from Paramount Animation/Nickelodeon Movies instead of Columbia/Sony Animation, and it is unrelated to that Smurfs series which aired on Nickelodeon. So far the only confirmed cast member is Rihanna as Smurfette, but when it comes to other voice actors, it should include those that voiced characters in previous incarnations like how the live action films had Jonathan Winters (not counting Frank Welker and Dee Bradley Baker of course).
